Guitar Hero II Bundle

Guitar Hero II BundleThis game isn’t all that new, but I played it on the PS2 recently and think its tons of fun. If you’re a n00b like me.. here’s a quick summary of how to play. Basically, notes are shown on the screen and you have to strum the guitar controller while pressing the right note button. The best part is that it comes with over 55 real rock tracks that get harder and harder to complete. A definite must have for music fans or those of you going through DDR withdrawal.

The bundle is on sale at Buy.com for $73.99 (originally $79.99) Plus, you can save another $10 if you use Google Checkout.

Creative Labs Fatal1ty 1010 Mouse

If you don’t know, he’s won multiple gaming titles and makes a living playing games, so if this mouse doesn’t give you an edge, I don’t know what will. Some of the cool features include: a modular weight system, very high resolution optical components, quick fire mouse buttons, and teflon gaming mouse feet. Everything you need to “pwn” the competition :-)

Just $20.91 after rebate at Buy.com (originally $50.91) - UPDATE: If you use the Google Checkout payment option, you can get it for just $0.91!

Update again: Buy.com just changed the price down to $49.99 (before rebate), so Google Checkout only gets you to $9.99 now… oh well, hope you got it while it lasted.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz for Nintendo Wii

Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz for Nintendo WiiI was lucky enough to get a Nintendo Wii, since I had pre-ordered one in the beginning of November. However, I had to get one of those “bundles” that comes with 6 additional games. I decided to put some of the games on eBay, but Super Monkey Ball looked interesting enough for me to open and play. It’s packed with about 50 party games that make full use of the Wii’s innovative remote and nunchuck controller. I killed a few hours playing it on the day I got it, and I’m sure I’ll be spending a lot more time in front of the TV now ;-)

Get it for $49.82 at Amazon.com (originally $49.99) - Not a huge discount, but since you get Free Shipping and probably don’t have to pay tax, its much better than buying it in a store.

Last Chance to Get Nintendo Wii

Nintendo WiiAlthough Amazon.com didn’t take any pre-sales for the upcoming Nintendo Wii console, they are making it available on the morning of the release date, November 19th! I’m not sure what they mean by “morning”, but I’ll start checking at midnight for sure, haha. Of course, it will sell out very very fast, so make sure you have your 1-click buy settings configured ;-)

Get Nintendo Wii in time for the holidays and don’t pay extra on eBay!

Final Fantasy XII

Final Fantasy XIIAt first I was like ok, another final fantasy game just came out… but actually I saw it over at my friend’s place the other day and it really looks good!  From the cinematics to the actual game play, it is a very high quality game.  The fighting is a little hard to get used to, but its definitely cool once you get the hang of it.  A definite must-play for all you RPG fans.

Halex 65500 Armada Electronic Dartboard

Halex 65500 Armada Electronic DartboardI’ve been playing a lot of darts recently, and this electronic dartboard really caught my eye. It allows both soft and hard tipped darts, keeps score automatically, has 28 games programmed in, and the coolest feature… it projects a red laser toe line on the floor where you are supposed to stand. No more cheating :-) Plus, it also has a trash talk feature that will make fun of you when you throw poor shots.

Steelsound 5H USB V2 Professional Gaming Headset

Steelsound 5H USB V2 Professional Gaming HeadsetSo, what’s the difference between a regular headset and a gaming headset?  Well, according to the makers of this Steelsound 5H headeset, it is optimized for in-game sound frequencies!  Specifically, you will be able to hear sounds like footsteps, gun shots and alerts more clearly than with a traditional headset or speakers.  Does it actually work?  Well, I’m not sure, but if it helps me get just 1 more frag in Counter-Strike or Quake 3, then it may be worth a shot :-)

Get it for just $29.99 after rebate! (originally $59.99)

Remote Control Shocking Tanks

Remote Control Shocking Tanks

What’s so “shocking” about these tanks? Well, its simple really… if your tank gets hit, you get shocked! Each player controls his/her tank using the provided remote controls, and each tank is equipped with an infra-red gun. The remote controls have built-in metal contacts, so every time your tank gets hit, you feel a mild electric shock. My friend actually has a set of these, and the best part is playing with someone who doesn’t know about the shock factor, haha! :-) On Sale for $39.99 at Auctionatic Store ( originally $59.99 - save $20 )
