I am a huge R/C enthusiast, although I think I’d break anything more complicated than a basic R/C car. I am always amazed at how people can control helicopters with so much precision and agility but I don’t really want to spend $1,000’s on parts so I can learn. THe Silverlit R/C UFO is an amazingly cool invention, it even won the technology award at the Nuremberg toy fair! It’s easy to see why. Look at the construction. If you bump it into a wall it simply bounces off unharmed and flies on. To prevent this happening though they incorporated a modern gyro system for maximum stability. The controls are totally 3D, you can ascend, descend, spin, hover, combine them, etc. A fine example of a modern, serious toy that is easy to use and durable so you can also hand it to children (like me).
