Pirates of the Caribbean (Collector’s Edition)
Now that the second part is out, I guess they are lowering the price of the first one, expecting higher demand. Well, all the better for us! I think the original Pirates of the Caribbean is such a great film and this 2-disc collector’s edition has lots to offer. Action/Adventure films usually take themselves too seriously or are a complete catastrophe. It was so great to just enjoy a film for once. The plot will not boggle your mind like the matrix but its pretty enjoyable, the acting is amazing (Johnny Depp deserves an Oscar for this) and the visuals are stunning. Follow Jack Sparrow (Depp) and Will Turner (Bloom) as they rush to break a curse, save a lady (Knightley), avenge a mutiny organized by Barbossa (Rush) and have great fun doing so. A definite must buy, must watch (over and over)!
