Hidden Wall Safe

Hidden Wall SafeDo you need a place to hide all your valuables in the house? Thinking of getting a safe? Well, try the Hidden Wall Safe instead of getting an expensive metal box, which can sometimes be lifted if small enough or cut around, etc. This nifty device looks just like your common power outlet. The face is interchangeable with any standard outlet and no one will know the difference. Bad guys spend an average of 6 minutes in a house and this doesn’t really give them time to look around, although if they had a day I don’t think they’d find your stuff in here. Protect your stuff easily and cheaply.

CD/DVD Shredder

CD/DVD ShredderWell, you have to be super-ultra paranoid to use something like this, but we all have our faults, so for all you paranoids out there here is the CD/DVD Shredder. Just pop it in and like a paper shredder it’ll totally obscure your CD. You wont get that cool mulch afterward, but I don’t think anyone will retrieve any data off it ever again. It has both forward and reverse movement so you can push and pull the CD for maximum paranoia soothing.

Stealth Computer Switch Hides Your Windows

Stealth SwitchOfficially an office “tool” the Stealth Switch can be configured to hide any (or all) unwanted windows on your desktop with the push of a button. Despite this, I think adolescents will praise this gadget as a God for some quite obvious reasons. With a flick of a foot switch you can mute sound, hide unwanted windows (not just minimize), hide the taskbar, icons, anything! The cool feature is that with the second press you can reveal the hidden material! Quite handy this one. Never again get caught playing online poker at work!

The coolest feature is that recording works both ways. The Mug Boss

Mug BossThose of you who work in an office know that coffee mugs are a dime a dozen. Company mugs are everywhere… you get them from the kitchen, from trade shows and meetings, and they accumulate into such a mass that they eventually develop their own gravity. Well now you can turn your mug into the ultimate “pen and various other stuff holder” with the Mug Boss. It’s essentially a backpack for your mug so that it may hold a multitude of stuff. It has 8 pockets to hold your pens, batteries, markers, pointers, etc and anything that doesn’t fit there can go directly in the mug.

Power Sentry

Power SentryThis helpful tool may be the answer to your power needs. If you’re a mechanic type, you might use this to save cable space or to save time when plugging in stuff. If you’re a musician, then this is a dream come true. Ever tried using 5 pedals? That means five adapters and five plugs laying around. The Power Sentry eliminates these problems, as it is essentially 5 adapters in one. The main power is controlled via the big yellow button and that’s it. Of course, if you’re “The One” then you probably don’t need the button, just hold out your hand to stop the power :-)

Silverlit X-UFO 4 Motor Flying Machine

Silverlit X-UFO 4 Motor Flying MachineI am a huge R/C enthusiast, although I think I’d break anything more complicated than a basic R/C car. I am always amazed at how people can control helicopters with so much precision and agility but I don’t really want to spend $1,000’s on parts so I can learn. THe Silverlit R/C UFO is an amazingly cool invention, it even won the technology award at the Nuremberg toy fair! It’s easy to see why. Look at the construction. If you bump it into a wall it simply bounces off unharmed and flies on. To prevent this happening though they incorporated a modern gyro system for maximum stability. The controls are totally 3D, you can ascend, descend, spin, hover, combine them, etc. A fine example of a modern, serious toy that is easy to use and durable so you can also hand it to children (like me).

Perplex City Intro Gift Box

Perplex City Intro Gift BoxWhat is known is this: a valuable object, the Receda Cube, has been stolen from a place called Perplex City and hidden somewhere on Earth. The people of Perplex City desperately need it back and offered a reward of $200,000 to the first person who cracks the mystery and finds it. Do you know what I’m talking about? No? Well neither does anybody else, that’s the cool thing. It’s like you’re transported into the matrix and you have to solve a code left by Dan Brown. The story is fictional (probably) but the cash prize is very real. The mystery spans websites, cities, virtually anything. Puzzles are contained on cards and can be optical puzzles, origami, even Sodoku! I really love puzzles and mystery so I’mdefinitely getting my hands on the starter pack and then onto the other parts. Have fun!

Pentago Board Game

Pentago I love board games and mind games and this is just about both. Combining connect-4 and Chinese turntable dining you have to create a row of five marbles but the catch is that you can rotate any of the four quadrants after each move. You think you have good foresight? Think again! You can really develop some non-linear thinking with Pentago and also get as mad as hell with your opponent!

MPIO 128MB MP3 Player

MPIO 128MB MP3 PlayerAlongside the iPod craze, few people see that there are many alternatives out there for your musical needs. If you are perfectly happy with 128Mb (about 30 songs) than you could consider the Mpio Mp3 Player. While it doesn’t have the storage capacity of an iPod it does look cool and comes with all the features a puritan music listener needs: good looks, a voice recorder, clock and alarm, 6-band EQ and it is compatible with Windows and Mac. Of course, it can also function as a mass storage device and comes with stereo earphones, USB cable, carrying case, armband and utility CD.

Hydrogen Fuel Rocket

Hydrogen Fuel RocketThe description of this product on ThinkGeek is just so good, I won’t even try to say anything funny because it will be overcast by the funny bone tickling device they probably have stored in their office. Suffice it to say that evil geniuses will love this little device. You have to make your own fuel (included) which is hydrogen, so no worries there and after that you just press a BIG RED BUTTON. Labeling it “Doomsday Device” and muttering “Let the destruction begin” is a must, at least once. Oh, I should also mention that The Rocket is propelled 200ft (61m) in the air… I guess that’s why you need the two free rockets included in this deal.  You only have to fork out a few bucks for delivery, but that’s not a problem because YOU’LL SHOW THEM!

Room With A View Dog House

Room With A View Dog HouseI really think cats and dogs get better houses sometimes than people do. This house is really nice because it has the interior for privacy and the exterior top so your pet can view it’s territory. Many people may say that this is stupid, they are just animals, but there are not enough words to describe how wrong they are. My dog would certainly rip the whole place apart in less than 3.245 seconds but many animals will probably find the house fun. Your dog needs as much variety as you do so even if he doesn’t use the top, the option is there. It’s a bit of a gamble, but if Fluffy likes the top, won’t he be adorable? :D

Bionic Wrench

Bionic WrenchEvery once in a while, people come up with stuff that’s so obvious, yet has never been done. The Bionic Wrench is a hybrid tool, a mix between a wrench and pliers. What happens to me so often is that I wrench along happily and after about 3 months the bolt becomes as smooth and round as a baby’s bottom. The creator of this superb wrench thought about why this is so. When you turn your wrench to turn the bolt you exert pressure on one corner. By placing the bionic wrench on top and squeezing while turning you exercise the same pressure while reducing the pressure to one corner to a sixth. The hole is wide enough to replace six standard and ten metric wrenches so prepare to clear up some clutter too.
