Open Box Sale at Palm
are some of the best PDAs out there and for a very limited time, you can get an extra 10% off all Palm open box items. Sure I don’t necessarily like to buy refurbished and open box stuff, but you can sure save a boatload compared to buying them retail. Open box usually means that there is no damage, but there are also “blemished” ones that may not be as perfect. Unfortunately, the deal does not apply to Treos, but if you are in the market for a Tungsten, Zire, LifeDrive or TX… then check it out. (via Gizmodo)

Again, I’m not the computer modder, but man, this fan looks cool. It’s sort of a cross between Aviator and Star Wars Episode One. Just buy two, attach to your iPod and you are off to the pod races. It is appropriate for Intel O4 478/775 and AMD K7, K8 so it fits quite a large range of PC’s out there. The
As with all new albums from bands that try to play music a bit outside their medium, this album is also deemed by some as “not RHCP at all”. I feel this is a bit of a paradox, but what do I know? Anyway I think the new
Sure this looks like an old-school LCD display, but it is actually one of the few, really usable computer accessories out there today. It enables you to monitor your email, instant messaging, playlist, etc while in-game or mid-work. The uses are endless, as are the features. For example: itunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp, ICQ, Yahoo IM support, POP email monitoring, quick memo, weather info, system info, the list is really, really long. You can customize what is shown and can use hotkeys to control the device. You can now respond to chat messages, scan through your email, change playlist without leaving your game or work area. This is a true gadget for busy people!
Lego is definitely one of the best inventions of our time. Apart from the fact that it is a whole lot o’ fun it also teaches some basic and intermediate skills. I was also raised in an environment where my parents let me play video games without a problem. Their view was that games do teach some good stuff, like reflexes, independent thinking, etc. Now Lego has superbly combined these two elements with their new NXT system. The system is not that simple… it consists of a main, programmable brain and various addons like touch, light, sound, unltrasonic sensors and what-not. To get a hold of the new technology and its programmable capability Brian Bagnall has released a new book called
Don’t get me started on the looks of this little gadget. It’s a tad phallic, but that won’t stop you from opening 40 bottles of wine with one recharge eh? It also has a foil cutter so you don’t have to fumble around to get that off. The description states that it is ergonomically designed. In this case so are most men, but despite this it does look quite nice, an especially nice addition to your bar counter I think.
